I have tried almost every product Lisa Eldridge has launched, so when she created eyeshadow palettes I was ecstatic! I looked through the curation of colors she arranged and decided to order Cinnabar which is a warm, bronzey, coppery neutral palette. I know you’re probably thinking “a makeup lover like you doesn’t already have a warm neutral palette?!” The truth is over the past few years I slowly gifted my palettes to family and friends because I wasn’t using them, and the other day I went wait…I don’t have a warm, shimmery neutral palette anymore?

Lisa’s palettes retail for a whopping $68 and have 6 pans in each gilded gold compact. Once you run out of your favorite shade, replacement pans are available to purchase individually. In Cinnabar the shades are Raw Sienna (a light caramel matte), Bronzite (a metallic bronze), Fired Earth (a deep matte brown), Lost Summer (a metallic copper), Deep Ochre (a rich velvety brown), and Ritual (a pale sheer gold topper with warm shimmer). Below are swatches of these shades in the order listed, and for reference I wear Lisa’s Seamless Skin Foundation in shade 10.

The texture of these shadows is really nice: they are somehow very soft yet have minimal kickback or fallout. They are so soft and almost bouncy that they remind me of the Colour Pop Super Shock Shadows. Beyond feeling extremely surprised by the minimal kickback and fallout, these shadows are all VERY pigmented and blend like a dream. Here’s a look I created for my YouTube Channel, and if you want to watch this palette in action you can watch here!

Additionally I am wearing Velvet Enchantment Lipstick. I own 3 of this particular formula now because despite being a matte formula, they’re incredibly comfortable and very long-wearing. Velvet Enchantment is described as a muted red that has both warm and cool tones. If you want to dip your toe in the world of red lipsticks or you’re looking for a soft everyday red, this is a great option!
Lisa Eldridge formulas are such a delight to use, and her newest holiday launches are no exception. While the price point is steep, the quality warrants the price in my opinion.
