I am not easily impressed when it comes to skincare; so many products make wild claims about their efficacy, and while they may be enjoyable to use, oftentimes fall short of their miraculous claims. I have made a habit of taking photos of my skin when testing new products as I find it to be the easiest way to determine if something is making a difference in my skin…behold, my latest before and after!
For several weeks, I have been applying Peach & Lily’s Glass Skin Refining Serum after cleansing my skin and before my moisturizer, and I am thoroughly impressed by these results! My skintone is less red, my post-acne marks have almost completely faded, my pores and fine lines appear smoother, dry/flaky skin is gone, and my skin has a luminous glow about it!
The texture of this serum is light and silky. It absorbs quickly while leaving a pretty glow on your skin without feeling greasy. It’s completely clear as well as fragrance-free, and comes in a white glass bottle with a pump.
The ingredients that make this formula so special are peach extract for firmness, niacinamide to fade dark spots, East Asian mountain yam extract to reduce dry flaky skin, madecassoide (from Centella Asiatica extract) to smooth, hyaluronic acid (short, medium, and long chain) for hydration at various layers within the skin, and peptides to boost collagen and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect miracles when I started using this serum. I figured at most that it would be a nice boost of hydration, but not for it to transform the tone and texture of my skin the way it has! It truly lives up to the claims of ‘glass skin’. I will definitely repurchase this serum!
